Vegan Carrot Halwa
A vegan version of traditional dessert called Gajar Ka Halwa cooked in almond milk and dairy free products is just ready to cook in your kitchen. Check out the recipe below.
Ingredients
Vegetable Oil- 2 tbsp
Cashew nuts chopped- 2 tbsp
Raisins- 1 tbsp
Carrot grated - 4 large
Almond butter -2 Tbsp
Sugar - ¼ cup
Almond milk- 1 cup
Dates- ¼ cup
Green cardamom powder- 1 tsp
Method
In a pan heat vegetable oil, add cashew nuts and raisins and sauté for 2 min
Add grated carrot and cook for 15 mins .
Add almond butter, sugar and mix well
Add almond milk, dates, green cardamom powder and stir for 4 mins or until mixture dries.
