Zorg en Hoop Airport ICAO: SMZO is an airport located in the city of Paramaribo, 05°48′41.30″N 55°11′24.24″ in Suriname. The runway length is only 750m which includes a displaced threshold of 200m and a landing distance of 550m, sufficient enough for for smaller aircraft such as: Twin otters, Cessna Grand caravan, Stationair, skylane, skyhawk, F406 Caravan II etc.. and helicopters such as the Robinson R66/44 Jet aircraft serve Paramaribo via Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport ICAO: SMJP about located about 45 kilometres (22 NM) south of Paramribo. Zorg en Hoop Airport is suitable for charters and regular services with smaller aircraft, and for helicopter flights. From the airport, the connection is maintained with several smaller airports in the interior of Suriname and for charter flights to the Caribbean. The only regular international service from SMZO is to Eugene F Correia International Airport ICAO: SYEC N6°48.35' / W58°6.46', located in Guyana. On daily basis VFR flights operate by Gum Air and Trans Guyana Airways with prop aircrafts like the amazing Cessna Grand Caravan.
