Our minecraft videos are meant to be silly and fun, we talk and joke and learn to play the game. We enjoy gaming (playing games) generally and playing minecraft in particular and we hope it shows. We think there is a room on YouTube for a Daddy Daughter minecraft team and we hope we can live up to awesome minecraft players like stampylongnose. We hope we can keep the minecraft gameplay fun and silly with our bad jokes which often aren’t all that funny! Mattea is a scaredy cat when playing minecraft in survival mode and screams regularly when googlies (mobs / monsters) appear. She is one of stampylongnose’s biggest fans and normally only plays on creative mode but I (her daddy) want the entertainment and challenge of having googlies running about. Since I am a complete beginner and Mattea (the stampy lover) has little experience playing in survival mode, we hope the viewers can learn with us! We plan on building many awesome minecraft structures into our Daddy Daughter Domain and we are learning to stop being cowardly and instead bravely taking on googlies! If you have any suggestions about what cool minecraft structures to build / games to play please let us know and we’ll do our best to try that out. We’re looking for lots of fun stuff to do and build in minecraft so if you have cool ideas, please let us know. We love how creative minecraft encourages the player to be and we especially love how expansive our Daddy Daughter Domain is – it sprawls out so far we still have only scratched the surface of exploring our awesome minecraft world! Our minecraft characters are BananaMan (for Daddy) and sort of a Cookie Monster character similar to how the sesame street character looks (for Mattea). We thought these would be fun and silly characters which we added poopy bums to. We are testing how much having a minecraft character with a poopy bum helps in playing minecraft. My theory is it helps in playing minecraft but it may just be limited to being silly / funny. I am hopeful that some of the minecraft bad guys (googlies / mobs / monsters) will be scared off by the sight or the smell of our poopy bums. While playing minecraft, Mattea and I regularly chit chat about our other projects including MineToon (a collection of cartoons made directly from videos of awesome youtubers playing minecraft), StampyToon (an animated cartoon of Mattea’s favourite youtuber: stampylongnose where we manually create a cartoon scene for some of his best episodes).
