CUBAN RISE
INGREDIENTS
Rice 250gr
Shredded fried tomatoes 300gr
2 bananas
Olive oil 4 tbs
2 Eggs
Onion 1 piece
Garlic 3 pieces
Butter 150gr
Cube of beef stock 1/2
Salt to taste
Water 600ml
Heat some oil in a pot and brown the garlic. Take off the garlic once it has been browned and add the rice so as to toast it. Add the cube of beef stock and a pinch of salt to give a little flavor. Add water to the rice and boil it for 5 minutes over maximum heat and then 15 min over low heat. While the rice cook, stir the onion and garlic before adding the tomato sauce.
Grab a container thats comfortable to stir and add the onion, a clove of garlic, a soup-spoonful of oil, however much salt you'd like, and a soup-spoonful of water. Mix everything together.
Heat the oil in a small pot and add shredded tomato, garlic, and onion. Before taking off the tomato, try a bit and salt if necessary. Our sauce will be done after five minutes cooking over low heat.
Take a look at the rice and check to see that it's softened. Take it off the stove and put a lid over it.
Melt some butter and add the bananas, frying each side for 5 minutes. Then put them on a plate.
Heat the oil and fry the eggs, adding however much salt you'd like.
To serve the rice, we're going to put it in a small bowl, measured to half a serving. Put the serving of rice over a big plate with the fried egg and banana on the side. Finish it off by putting the tomato sauce on top of the rice and enjoy!
