Please Subscribe: This day (10/19/12) was a day that I had dedicated to a railfanning trip to Johnson City. I find myself in JC a lot, but I never have time to sit down and wait on some trains. On this day, I did. This is part One of Two. The first train of the the day was a northbound general manifest with a nice SD50, I believe, on the front. Unfortunately, my camera decided to read the memory card instead of record when I hit the button. The second train (first on the video) was another northbound general manifest, this one with an AC44CW leading. Listen to the horn and note that the ditch lights are off. The second train was a loaded coal heading south. Much like the first train, this one was going very slow compared to track speed. New-ish ES44AC in trailing. The third train is CSX Q698. This one was moving at track speed. The end of the video has been cut in such a way that you can hear the defect detector at MP125.5. You can also hear the train call clear at "Quarry", MP 124.7, at the beginning of the video. After these four trains, I went to catch some ETRY action and missed two more.
