The video discusses how the CRNA (certified registered nurse anesthetists) school program will be changing in the future of 2025 and CRNA vs DNAP. In order to become a CRNA in the future, a candidate must obtain a doctor degree (DNAP Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice or DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) instead of a master’s degree in nursing (MSN). Starting in 2022, the master’s program for becoming a CRNA will no longer be offered. In this video, I also discuss the slight differences between the DNAP and DNP in regarding to teaching, job opportunities, salary etc.
