The spawn is the way it is to reset the global cycle - to bring the platform back (means you can keep your masks if you get lucky). The slippery iron crates and solid scenery behind mirrors/windows are done using the same object the game uses for ice slopes. The seal thing is the same thing as seals at the end of 3D segments of Snow Go, just with less common properties. Its there because of layout reasons and lack of space. The elevators/platforms are done the same way the boulders and bears that travel long distance are done - theres a zone that contains all of these, which is loaded all the time. The fucked up platform that goes from spawn to approximately a third of the level is a platform from Spaced Out with gem platform animation over it (I cant feed it gem ID to make it have a normal color). Both normal and gem elevators present in one level are made by overwriting bonus platform object with the gem one. You cannot get back onto normal Snow Go path - the link (mby the rest of the level too, idk) has been cut. Fun thing is the ice physics linger on you even on the gem elevators.
