Here’s what it is, in case you’ve been living under a rock lately: You twist a bottle cap so it’s loosely on the bottle, then you expertly knock it off the bottle by doing a spinning kick. Piece of cake, right? Last week we showed you UFC featherweight champ, Max Holloway, masterfully pulling it off. He made it look way to easy. Now former UFC double champ, Conor McGregor, has thrown his hat in the ring and pulled it off pretty easily, too. Yup, that was pretty easy for him. Will we see Floyd Mayweather attempt this? That could be interesting, as the legendary boxer might not be that great at spin kicks. UFC Featherweight champion Max Holloway kicked things off (see it here), which was then followed by music-mega star, John Mayer, “Mini Blessed” and then action movie star, Jason Statham. “Notorious” took to social media to show of his own skills by acing the challenge and then promptly calling out boxing superstar, Floyd Mayweather. And while McGregor did take the chance to promote his Proper No. 12 Whiskey in the video, I think he missed an opportunity by not using his bottle in the challenge itself. I mean, John Wayne Parr used a Monster Energy canned drink for his. Then again, trying to make a cork spin would be challenging.
