Conference of businesswomen ongoing in Istanbul

Conference of businesswomen ongoing in Istanbul 2011-01-25 A conference organized by the US Embassy in Georgia is being held in Istanbul, Turkey. A total of 20 Georgian business women are taking part in the activity. The participants have the opportunity to become introduced with Armenian, Azerbaijani, Greek and Turkish colleagues. Vera Kobalia, Georgia's Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development attended the conference and held a presentation on topic "Women as indication force of economic growth." The purpose of the conference is to help Georgian business women in establishment of contacts with their foreign counterparts.
