Concerto For Wind Ensemble - Steven Bryant (World Premiere)

Steven Bryant is another popular contemporary composer whose music has received critical acclaim. His "Concerto For Wind Ensemble" is one of the most virtuosic showcases ever written for band. The first movement was originally written as its own piece, but Bryant wanted to add to it later on. The concerto calls for three antiphonal groups positioned around the audience in addition to the players on stage, the intent being to have the music blossom from multiple locations.
