A common window for all the government exams has been proposed so that students do not have to apply for all the exams separately. This is the One Nation One Exam or Common Eligibility Test (CET) initiative proposed to the Government in order to bring transparency in various government procedures, to ease the difficulty faced by surging candidates after failure in the proper conduction of exam, to short out plethora of challenges with proliferated workload and less manpower, this has been proposed to Rajya Sabha on 14th March 2018, that a Common Eligibility Test (CET) will be conducted for govt. exams viz SSC, Banking, Railway and others 2019 onward. However, it still is not officially out and will be treated as a supposition until it is proclaimed on the papers. This One Nation One Exam or Common Entrance Test (CET) if implied would then remove separate SSC, Banking, Railways etc. exams. If implied the first exam to bring this into effect is the SSC CGL exam.
