How to understand Color Theory,this is a basic Color Theory lesson. I use my Pocket Color Wheel to demonstrate how you can use Color Theory to pick out Makeup that you feel confident in. Listed below are some terms used during this video.
Primary Colors - Colors that are not mixed with any other colors to create them ( Red, Blue, & Yellow)
Secondary Colors - Colors that are created by mixing two primary colors together ( Orange,Green, & Violet)
Warm Colors- Yellow, Orange, & Red
Cool Colors - Blue, Green,& Violet
Complimentary Colors:
Yellow - Violet
Red - Green
Blue - Orange
Tint Color+White
Tone Color+Gray
Shade Color+ Black
Monochromatic Colors- Colors that lie within the same row ( using any one color's tone, tint and shade together)
Analogous Colors- Colors that are to the left and right of a certain color
( Yellow, Yellow Green, & Green)
