A chilly day out on the River with Blue Foot Diving to explore the A. E. Vickery wreck near the Rock Island lighthouse.
The A. E. Vickery was a schooner carrying 21,000 bushels of corn destined for Wisers Distrillery in Ontario. It sank on August 17, 1889 when it struck a shoal while entering the American Narrows.
