So proud Cold Ice Z (Contendro I x GP mare Cold as Ice Z) did a great job at the Zangersheide Festival Championship mare foals!!! While Codex One (also by Contendro I) and rider Christian Ahlmann won the Grand Prix of Valkenswaard, our filly impressed the spectators and the jury of Zangersheide. Within a minute after leaving the indoor arena Zangersheide showed their interest in Cold Ice Z. “Well that’s the greatest compliment I could receive!!” As her breeder owner and future rider I’m blessed to have such a special filly. The dam of Cold Ice Z, is the international Grand Prix mare Cold as Ice Z by Carthago Z. This mare ridden by Kevin Staut placed many times in the top 10. She is also dam of the fantastic white show jumper As Cold as Ice Z by Artos Z, who jumped succesful 5 star classes with Judy-Ann Melchior. They placed 2nd at the Nation Cup La Baule, they were the only combination with double clear rounds, they were a winning team member of the Nations Cup Lisbon and placed 2nd in Rome.
