Coasteering in Basque Country

Como veis el coastering es una actividad de pura adrenalina que combina senderismo, saltos de altura, escalada, exploración de cuevas y natación. A esta actividad no hay que tenerla miedo, pero si queréis disfrutarla hace falta estar en buena forma física y sobre todo ir con un guía que conozca lo secretos de la zona ya que en esta actividad influye mucho la fuerza de las olas, la intensidad de las corrientes y la profundidad de las aguas. Cuando tenemos todos estos factores controlados, el coastering es una de las actividades más divertidas que se pueden hacer en la costa de Vizcaya. I have come to the municipality of Gorliz to explore its cliffs. For doing so, instead of taking the conventional terrestrial paths I decided to stuff myself in a wetsuit, wear gloves, a helmet and a life vest for coasteering. As you can see coasteering is a pure adrenaline activity that combines hiking, height jumps, climbing, caving and swimming. This activity must not be feared, but if you want to enjoy you need to be physically fit and, especially, to go with a guide who knows the secrets of the area, because this activity is strongly influenced by the force of the waves, the intensity of streams and the depth. When we have controlled all these factors, coasteering is one of the most fun activities to do on the coast of Biscay.
