CNN Allegedly Posts Fake Video of Family Reunification. You Be The Judge! (VIDEO)

CNN posted a video of a so-called “family reunification” of mother and son who originate from El Salvador. They say the boy is 7 years old and had been in a holding facility for little over a month in Miami. The mother had been in a similar facility in Colorado, although they were both allegedly caught crossing the border illegally in Arizona. CNN captured footage of the alleged reunion in an airport. The location of the airport is unclear. One thing that is pretty clear is that the reunification was awkward at best and totally phony at worst. First of all, the boy showed no affection towards the woman at all. It appeared as if she were a total stranger. Some audio was picked up of them talking (most likely because the mother was wearing a CNN microphone!). Their conversation was all in Spanish and some viewers on the original post were able to translate most of what they said. It boiled down to the boy asking where his auntie was and the woman was pointing to a part of the airport where nobody was standing and that he did not see her. Another child was introduced into the picture, this time a little girl with a man wearing a red polo shirt. He makes a bee-line straight to the boy and moves the girls arms around the boy, forcing the two to hug. It was very strange. There was no interaction between the man and woman and any interaction between and with the children appeared to be totally forced. This video is fake. While I can’t say that with 100% certainty, it appears to be that way. The boy and girl looked to be well-fed and taken care of. Nicely groomed, well fed, not neglected.
