Climate Scientist Katharine Hayhoe gives upbeat keynote speech at UTSA

Watch the kickoff of San Antonio's first Climate Action and Adaptation Plan and hear from an internationally-recognized climate scientist. This second of two videos from the event includes a presentation by Katharine Hayhoe, Ph.D Director Climate Science Center, Texas Tech University and an internationally-recognized climate scientist. The video also includes an audience Q&A session with the speakers. SA Climate Ready is a project to develop a Climate Action and Adaptation Plan for the City of San Antonio. The Project will explore both mitigation strategies, aiming to reduce or prevent the emission of GHGs, and adaptation strategies aiming to prepare the community, municipal government operations, and other key sectors for the unavoidable impacts of climate change.
