Class 37's, a 1960's product, and still in operation through Retford.

The class 37's (or English Electric type 3's) were built from 1960 and have had associations with both lines through Retford since then. They were regular performers on the Harwich boat train when it took the route over Woodhead, and were regular performers on the main line.
Here in 2020 this 60-year old product can still be seen, indeed on one day I saw 4 in just a few hours. Enjoy the growl of these diesels as they work a variety of trains around Retford.
