Christian Eriksen joined Ajax from OB in Denmark as a 16 year old and over five seasons with the Dutch side became one of the hottest young prospects in European football. In total Eriksen made 162 appearances and scored 32 goals from midfield for Ajax before moving to Tottenham in 2013 for a reported £11 million.
The deal would represent great value for Spurs as over the next six seasons Eriksen would prove to be the key creative player in Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham side. The Dane would reach double figures for goals scored in five of his six full seasons and the club and would regularly top the assist chart. Eriksen was named in the PFA team of the year for the 2018/18 season and was twice Tottenham's Player of the Year in 2014 and 2017.
How will Eriksen fit in at Inter? Antonio Conte has favoured a 352 with Lukaku and Martinez starting up top. Will Conte switch his formation to allow Eriksen to play behind the strikers? Or will he keep a midfield three and rotate Eriksen in alongside Brozovic, Sensi and Barella?
