Christ is Wisdom Personified, Proverbs 8:22-36

John chapter one and Proverbs chapter eight describe the word (logos) of God as the wisdom and understanding of God that came forth from the Father's mouth at the beginning of time. Hence, the Son of God was “the beginning of the creation of God” (Rev. 3:14), “the beginning, the firstborn from the dead” (Colossians 1:18), and the firstborn of all creation” (Colossians 1:15) because the Son was conceived in the mind and plan of God before becoming the expressed thought (logos) of God the Father which later became flesh to form a human Son (John 1:14).
