Chocolate cake for your next party! This is a really easy yet exceptional Chocolate Cake that truly tastes of chocolate. The crumb is beautifully tender and moist, I don’t see myself using any other recipe for an everyday Chocolate Cake, ever again
How to make Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
• Plain flour - 1 1/2 cups
• Fine sugar - 1 cup
• Cocoa - 4 tablespoons
• Baking Soda - 1 tsp
• Salt - 1/2 tsp
• Water - 1 cup
• Vegetable oil - 1/2 cup
• White vinegar - 2 tbsp (or lemon juice)
• Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
• Coffee - 1 tsp (optional)
Chocolate ganache
150 ml coconut cream or you can use Heavy cream
300 grams dark chocolate
Notes
1. Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature.
2. While mixing the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, fold gently. Do not over mix.
3. If you're not planning on frosting the cake, add some walnuts. Gives a nice crunch to the cake.
4. Use same quantity lemon juice if you don't have vinegar.
5. Each oven is different, timings may differ. So start checking at 30 minutes.
6. Add more coffee powder if you like coffee.
