Chicony KB-5981 review (SMK 2nd Gen "Monterey")

It uses Monterey blue clicky switches, which is by far its most interesting feature as the board itself is not all that remarkable in any way other than that is has windows keys. The Monterey switches has a delightful light, smooth, crisply tactile typing feel that feels most comparable to Alps SKCM White switches. The practice sentence was "Hello my name is Thomas and I'm typing on a Chicony KB-5981 right now. The typing feel of the blue Monterey switches is possibly the best I've ever felt. If you can get hold of a board with these on, I'd say go for it! You won't regret it."
