Chevy Tracker, Speeder or Hi-Rail ?? Who needs guide wheels.

We went up to Summerland to ride the KVR train for the hundredth time! LOL The crew told us of some old equipment there storing way up the line. We hiked in and met up with worker who's clearing the rails from Prairie Valley up to Faulder. I noticed his "MOW" vehicle...its a Chevy Tracker, he DOES NOT use any kind of guide wheels. He told me he's been doing this for years and only derailed once only because the rails were wet and covered in grass. When going out onto the rails he will drop the tire pressure to 20lbs and that's it!! Pretty cool.
