Chaye or Qawali | Karak Chai | Doodh Patti | Pakistan Street Food

Definitely one of the best outdoor cafes I have been to, the ambience is simply great. The cafe is based on the theme of Qawali so you will find a stage for live Qawali and posters of great Qawals of Pakistan hanging on side walls. Has a decent sitting are, sides are covered, center is open to give the cafe an outdoor ambience. Sitting is quite comfortable with option to play Ludo on your table, which is really nice. The fusion of Chaye and Qawali is something different and it is definitely liked by the customers. Prices are quite reasonable and has a decent menu with options such as appetizers, steaks, soups, deserts, chaye and soft drinks. We had only Tea and honestly I wasnt expecting the tea to be good, but it was really excellent. The small cup was Rs. 99 and it was worth it. The Qawali session starts after 9pm, so if you want to enjoy your cup of tea with qawali then you should go there after 9pm, unfortuantely we left early, so we missed the live qawali. The owner is a very nice and humble person and a true gentleman. I will rate my experience of Chaye Qawali as 8.5/10 Recommendation: Highly recommended with friends.
