Together, they won two gold medals at the 2012 London Olympics. They won the three dressage tests at the 2014 World Equestrian Games. They also hold the three world records which are 87.460 % in the Grand Prix, 88.022 % in the Grand Prix Special and 94.3 % in the Freestyle. Dutch-bred Valegro is a gelding by Negro, son of Ferro.
