With the help of his (also conquistador) cousin, Francisco Pizarro, Cortés gets an audience with Emperor Charles V, to defend himself against the accusations about the crimes he committed against the Crown as governor of New Castile. s01e10 'Carlos, Rey Emperador' is a Spanish TV series about the life of Charles of Habsburg, Holy Roman Emperor and King of Spain, the most powerful man in his time.
