Gang banging in Los Angeles has been a phenomenon since the 60s and will continue to be one. The gang culture in Los Angeles has been passed down from generation to generation; and through that transgression, plenty of changes have taken place. Kleshaam Shakir, Terrell Van Sciver, Steve Carlyle, in association with The Chosen Few Films, took a closer look at these changes, to find out how and why. Charge it to the Game is answering questions that many generations of gangs left unanswered, by going to different neighborhoods and interviewing first and second generation gang members, current gang members, and everyday residents with no gang affiliation. This is giving you a raw and uncut view into the gang world of Los Angeles, from the Rollin' 60s, 90s, Black P Stones, Bounty Hunters, Hoovers, South Central, Compton, and Watts. With narration from Donut aka Big Screwloose from Rollin' 90 Naybahood Crip, currently serving 24 life sentences in Folsom Correctional Facility, we are putting these realities of gangs and the overall condition of the Black community into perspective.
