Changing cherry switches PCB OR PLATE MOUNTED

I'm not a professional, however i've done some homework and here's what i'm looking to do, i believe this method to work. I want to buy a Corsair K70 RGB, and take the keycaps and springs out, and put keycaps and springs from Cherry MX Clear switches in it... i know it has a midplate, which makes most people say it can't be done, however i believe it can, this is my explination, i will be buying the keyboard this payday and i will let you all know hen i get it!
