Oats are infused with a strong chai tea, coconut milk, additional spices, sweet raisins, a splash of stevia and then topped with more coconut milk, crystallized ginger and raisins. This breakfast is a true treat that will sweeten your day naturally. Make it and share the love!
Chai Spiced Oatmeal | 2 Servings
1 Cup Oats (Gluten-Free Variety for GF)
1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
1/2 tsp Ginger Powder
1/2 Cup Raisins
1 Cup Chai Tea (Strong!)
1 Cup Coconut Milk
Dash: Nutmeg, All Spice, Cardamom
Sweeten to taste as desired (I used Stevia)
Top With:
Drizzle of Coconut Milk
Crystallized Ginger Pieces
Raisins
LOVE
Peaceful Preparation:
Combine ingredients in a saucepan. Cook until desired consistency, I cooked ours about 15 minutes with the last 5 minutes covered. Stir frequently to prevent sticking. Once it is at your preferred consistency, transfer to two bowls, top as desired, I chose coconut milk, crystallized ginger and raisins. Mmm mmm! Enjoy! A drizzle of maple syrup would be sooo divine!
