cargo ship in storm at kuril islands

Cargo ship loaded with over 30 000 logs passing storm near Kuril Islands on the way from USA to China. As can be see in the video, we are steering exactly into the storm to absolutely avoid any rolling of the vessel. Otherwise the many thousand tons of cargo on deck could have been lost, the stanchions cannot hold the dynamic force of the movement of the logs. It happened to us that at night the ship came off course a few degrees and heavy rolling started and the big pile of logs started to move, the lashing became loose. Only immediate switching from autopilot to manual steering we were able to head back into the storm and stop the rolling. Otherwise deck cargo could have been lost as it happened to a vessel in front of us, they lost all the cargo on hatch 5 and half on hatch 4, (I have only pictures of it) or like the vessel in the following video: http://youtu.be/AWGlNAymZ6Y To loose the cargo on our maiden voyage wouldn't have been very nice.
