Care of Rock grown Bonsai

Care of Rock grown BonsaiУ вашего броузера проблема в совместимости с HTML5
Newly created "clinging to a rock" bonsai should be kept in a partially shady place out of the wind for at least two weeks. It is during this period that the moss will regain its vigor and the roots will take hold. Ordinarily, when a tree is re-potted the weaker roots are trimmed off, which helps the tree in its struggle to grow by leaving only vigorous roots. With rock grown bonsai, however, all roots are retained, thus creating a situation in which they can be easily injured. Consequently, this type of bonsai is weaker than others and require more more attention, especially in regard to watering. Because the roots function less efficiently in absorbing water, the moss must not be allowed to dry out. Excessive watering, at the same time, can also be harmful, since it tens to cool the roots too much. Care should be taken to water the plants gently so as not to wash away the moss or soil.
