‘Cancellation of coal block allocation won’t affect power supply in the state’

Power Minister Rajendra Shukla on Friday affirmed that the cancellation of some coal block allocation would not affect the power supply during the coming six months. Shukla said that some power plants based on such coal blocks would stop producing electricity and the state government would try to buy power from other states to meet soaring demands during the Kharif season.
