Some people go to the extreme and try to imitate non-Muslims in their attempt of being accepted by the society. Others go to the extreme and deal unjustly with non-Muslims and only spread hatred against them. Islam is a balanced way of life. We deal with non-Muslims justly and we wish for them what is best for them - Islam - and we don't try to become like them. Check out Sh.
