Calls to ban strip searches of women in Queensland jails

In North Queensland. strip searches have been stopped at Townsville women's prison, after a state ombudsman investigation found they had broken the law.
However, a Brisbane women's prisoner advocacy group says regular strip searches continue in other jails in the state.
