Cabot Celebrity Award Winner, Kellie Greene

The Farm Families who own Cabot present the Cabot Community Celebrity Award program to honor the achievements and contributions of volunteers from every part of our great nation. Kellie knows a thing or two about turning trauma into triumph. Like most heroes, Kellie found a way to confront her demons. She is now a leading spokesperson on coping with the aftermath of rape. As the victim of “stranger rape,” Kellie refused to let that single event define her, and she set out to do something about it. Kellie knew first-hand that the programs and aftercare available for rape victims was deficient, and she knew what it took to survive. Kellie was willing to speak out, and she SOARed.
