Welcome!
In this video, we're travelling on a winter's morning from Singen in Germany to Glattbrugg in Switzerland with a loaded Kerosene (Jet fuel) train, destined for Zürich airport. On the way we'll be passing between the two countries 3 times, as visable on the map.
Singen is the official boarder station, meaning that the infrastructure has been made to allow trains with a Swiss pantograph and safety equipement to travel the 10 kilometres on German soil following Thayngen. The 8 kilometres of track passing through Germany before Schaffhausen belongs to the Swiss network.
Please note, the camera stopped recording shortly before Rafz, prompting me to insert a recording from a subsequent trip during summer for the few minutes of missing footage.
