C1 Chaser MAIDEN Flight + Pre-Maiden Commentary

Howdy this is the maiden flight of my C1 Chaser I bought here https://goo.gl/Vn0vBi and she flew brillantly! I've also included tips on how to ensure your maiden flight goes well. Matt Model: ------------ C1 Chaser 1200mm Wingspan EPO Flying Wing FPV Aircraft RC Airplane KIT Bought here: https://goo.gl/SNRvgg Motor: ------------ SunnySky X2212 1250Kv bought here: https://goo.gl/JN6kOO Propeller ------------ Currently I'm using a 8x4.5 as that's all I had, but I will change this to a 8x6 APC prop for more thrust and better flight efficiency. Specially this propeller: https://goo.gl/FAEriW ESC ------------ I grabbed the nearest ESC I had which was a Turnigy 40A, it came down quite warm after ragging the nuts off on 4S. Servos ------------ I'm using the TowerPro MG90S metal geared servos here https://goo.gl/lKzMNi that are cheaper than the HobbyKing plastic geared ones! You only need 2 for this model, but I always buy them in packs of 6 as it's the cheaper way getting them. Battery ------------ For the maiden I elected to use a 65C 2200mAh 3S pack, but I needed to add quite a wedge of lead to the nose to get her to balance. Transmitter & Receiver ------------ I was using my Taranis and grabbed a spare V8FR-II receiver. This receiver will be swapped out for either a X8R or L9R receiver depending on how I set her up for FPV later. Video Footage ------------ This was taken using a RunCam 2 https://goo.gl/clv9w2.
