Butterflies at Meijer Gardens

The annual Fred & Dorothy Fichter Butterflies Are Blooming exhibition is underway at Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The event runs until April 30 and is the is the largest temporary tropical butterfly exhibition in the nation, according to the Meijer Gardens website. The room, which serves as a home to thousands of tropical butterflies, is kept at 85 degrees Fahrenheit with a humidity of 70 percent to replicate the butterflies' native conditions.
