Well, this is the original orchestration of Cue "3MCA Riding the Hippogriff" of the Harry Potter 3 OST. I think this scene is for most of us an emotional ride through the magical world. John Williams brings us with this short cue his joy for music. The melody is just the broken keys and also the background pattern seems just repetitions. But there is more. The transition in the middle is full of counter point technique at it's finest. Here is creativity, emotion, John Williams. After the "Leaving Hogwarts" sequence this could be probably my second favourite, if there wouldn't be "Fawkes The Phoenix"...Ahhh The Harry Potter Soundtrack is so great!
