My first encounter with brown jelly. One of the bowerbanki's I bought the week before brown jellied. Really surprised, but thankful it was easy to spot so I could react as soon as possible. ?
The bowerbanki did not make it, but the others in quarantine did not end up with the same affliction. ?
The coral quarantine tank is looking great. I've let the parameters slide a little. The coraline algae really caught me off guard. This tank receives a 10g water change every 3 weeks. The 10g comes from the 93g display. Alk should be roughly 8.5. With the coraline, the lack of dosing has probably reduced alk to 7 or lower. As I said in the video that is my guess, I'm sure I'm not far off here.
