The term broiler is applied to chicks that have especially been bred for rapid growth. They are young chickens raised only for their meat. Broilers are usually slaughtered at approximately 35 to 49 days of age when they reach 1.5 kg live-weight[1].
The same ruling for any normal chicken would apply to a broiler chicken. Once it is slaughtered according to the requirements of Shari’ah it would be Halaal.
