Bristol Zoo's Grill for Gorillas conservation campaign

In 2013, Bristol Zoo Gardens launched a brand new conservation campaign called Grill for Gorillas, designed to encourage guests to purchase FSC certified products for their summer barbecues. Unsustainable wood extraction is one of the biggest threats to biodiversity worldwide, linked to habitat destruction in forests where species such as the western lowland gorilla live. The FSC certification system offers consumers the ability to identify, purchase and use wood products which have been sourced from well-managed forests. Enjoy this video insight into the campaign.
