According to multiple reports, the Dallas Cowboys have signed WR Allen Hurns to a 2-year, $12 million deal to help shore up their WR core. Hurns caught 39 passes for 484 yards and 2 touchdowns last year despite another injury-riddled season. Hurns hasn’t broken 500 yards the last 2 seasons, but did break the 1,000 yard marker in 2014.
The Cowboys WR depth chart has gone through a bit of a face lift this offseason with Brice Butler heading out and Allen Hurns and Deonte Thompson coming in. Hurns gives the Cowboys the #2 receiver they have been looking for opposite Dez Bryant after Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley both failed to impress last season. Expect the Cowboys to add a WR in the draft to give QB Dak Prescott more targets.
