A veterinary intern at Piracicaba Municipal Zoo, Sao Paolo has saved the life of a porcupine by constructing a homemade wheelchair for the creature.
The animal was taken to the zoo on May 12 by the Environmental Police after being rescued from a nightclub, which reported that the animal had fallen from the roof.
The porcupine was suffering a spinal injury and was about to be put down when one clever intern built the device using a PVC pipe.
