Bosch Filter Bags for Dust Extractors Extractors, and their differences.

Probably one of the first things you are going to need to buy for your Bosch GAS 35 M AFC Professional Dust Extractor are the bags.
Although you can use it without bags but that reduces the extractor to an ‘L’ class unit and if you want an ‘L’ class machine you might as well buy a cheaper model. However if you are dealing with liquids then it would be practical to use the machine without a bag.
The 3 bag types are paper, fleece and plastic:
Paper Bag;
• The paper filter bag is advisable for simple, coarser dusts and dirt that have non-abrasive effects.
• The paper filter bag enables the extracted material to be disposed of with low levels of dust.
• This filter bag is only suitable for dry applications.
*NB: If a paper filter bag is used, the automatic filter cleaning (AFC) or semi-automatic filter cleaning Plus (SFC+) should be switched off.
Fleece Bag;
• The fleece filter bag is very robust, can hold a very high volume of dust (2 to3 times that of a paper filter bag).
• The fleece bag enables the extracted material to be disposed of easily and with low levels of dust.
• The fleece filter bag is also less sensitive to abrasive materials and moisture than, for example, paper filter bags.
• The fleece filter bag is suitable for dry applications.
Plastic Disposal Bag;
• The disposal bag is the ideal filter bag for working with the automatic filter cleaning system (AFC).
• The disposal bag is suitable for dry and wet applications.
• It enables the extracted materials to be disposed of with low levels of dust
The fleece bag has a great capacity and can handle larger more jagged debris than the paper bag. It is also more robust in the presence of moisture. It can’t handle wet like the disposal bag but for general site conditions, my recommendation would be the fleece filter bag.
