Bongsan Talchum 봉산탈춤

Bongsan Talchum was registered in 1967 as the 17th intangible cultural asset of Korea. As I successfully argued in my MA thesis, it has become the representative mask dance drama of Korea. This video is a series of excerpts from a 45 minute performance of the mask dance drama. The drama itself, performed full length, runs approximately 3 hours in length, at this particular festival the 1st, 2nd (in abridged form), 7th and 5th acts were performed.
