This is a wonderful opportunity I had to fly on one of the few passenger airlines still flying the 737 "original series" into the U.S. Bahamasair has improved their website and is very easy to book flights out of FLL or MIA. UP only has 2 current 732s : C6-BFW and C6-BFM. To insure a ride, I booked my first leg through FLL (lax-fll-nas) and my return leg through MIA (nas-mia-iah-lax).
On my return, the equipment was changed from the 737 to Dash8-300. I hoped returning I could video the "clamshell" thrust reversers. However, I'm grateful I was lucky enough to capture the wonderful sound of the engines of C6-BFW (delivered in 1982) and bring the 737-200 experience to your computer. Watch in HD and enjoy.
