Bodegas Sonsierra - Pagos De La Sonsierra Reserva 2012 - Rioja tasted 100% blind by the Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson. Rather dark colour. Sweet nose of dark fruit, crushed berries, cassis, aniseed and liquorice with some new oak. The palate is rather dense and modern with good purity of fruit, fresh but dark berries with a mild spiciness, ripe tannin and rather long persistency. Still a bit youthful but fine potential.
