Boarding United Flight 888, a Boeing 777 200 from SFO to PEK

My quick stay in the United Club near San Francisco (SFO) Gate 71A is finished. A lounge agent said they are boarding for Beijing, China (PEK), so I’m leaving the club at 11:20 a.m. and need to hustle back over to Terminal G. I did get my hotel booked on Priceline for the stay tomorrow night near PEK: Holiday Inn Beijing Airport Zone for $60 plus taxes and fees. As I reach Gate G93, I hear them paging for me as I head down the escalator. It was a seven-minute walk from the United Club in Terminal 3 to get back to Gate G93 in the International Terminal. The flight is delayed 45 minutes due to operational difficulties. Later, the time is now 3:53 a.m. China Standard Time on Saturday, Oct. 28.
