Comedy Country Bluegrass Harmony - Very Funny: The Famous Brothers sing Yodel In The Valley!
This is a simple song about communication between a man and a woman... Okay, it's not THAT simple! Listen carefully, and see if this kind of communication floats YOUR boat!
Who are The Famous Brothers? Best answer: classic bluegrass harmony with an original comic twist.
The story is that The Famous Brothers hail from the hardscrabble mining town of Monkey’s Crevice, West Virginia. That's where they created a unique three-part harmony style and wrote their most memorable songs, such as “Armageddon Ready for the Second Coming ('Cause the First One Came Too Fast)" and "(I've Got Twenty Ways to Kill You With My) Swiss Army Knife.”
The Chicago Tribune calls the Famous Brothers “exceptionally witty." The Chicago Reader says they’re “funny, smart, sweet-voiced, and overall amiable,” while the Windy City Times anoints them “a surefire crowd-pleaser, keeping the audience laughing and clapping along.”
The Famous Brothers have appeared at FitzGerald’s, The Hideout, The Old Town School of Folk Music, The Green Mill, Uncommon Ground, The Wilmette Theater, The Goodman Theater, Bill’s Blues Bar, Beat Kitchen and Martyr’s and were a “Critic’s Choice” for a series of concerts at the Lakeshore Theater. They've crossed state lines for multiple visits to the Acorn Theater in Three Oaks, Michigan.
Whatever and wherever the hell they are, The Famous Brothers are a damn good time.
